Hello and welcome!
Thank you for joining my monthly newsletter! I greatly appreciate your interest in my first published children’s picture book, Jude's Best Worst Day Ever, and in the upcoming projects that I'm working on!
The launch events in November, both in-person and virtual, were huge successes! I want to give a heartfelt and gratitude filled THANK YOU to all who helped celebrate the launch of my first children’s picture book, Jude’s Best Worst Day Ever. If you weren’t able to attend, check out the recording from the Virtual Launch on my website here.
It’s official! I’m honored and excited to partner as a collaborative author with Ella’s Way. Ella's Way believes that early learning leads to acceptance (E.L.L.A). Their mission is to promote kindness through acceptance of differences. With educating young children about the concepts of diversity and disability, they will be more accepting of differences as they begin to form their first friendships (ages 4-7 years). Using Ella's Way children's books, they provide enrichment programs that introduce the concepts of diversity, disability, acceptance and inclusion.
They are currently expanding their offerings to include grief and other Social Emotional Learning topics, most recently Jude's Best Worst Day Ever!
I am thrilled to start promoting Ella's Way with local businesses, assist with fundraising, and securing Ella's Way book donations to local schools, libraries, and hospitals in Central Virginia. If you are a local business owner (or know a local business owner!) that would be interested in partnering and assisting with fundraising for Ella’s Way, please let me know!
A special thank you to Grant Coffee Company in Chester, VA for generously providing a space for the in-person launch event. A huge thank you to the talented illustrators of Jude’s Best Worst Day Ever, Carla and James Ramos. Also, a continued special thank you to Inner Peace Press for publishing my first children’s picture book!
