Hello and welcome!
Thank you for reading my monthly newsletter! I greatly appreciate your interest in my children’s picture books, including Jude's Best Worst Day Ever, and the upcoming Tina and the Mysterious Case of Dance-itis!
The start of this year has been rife with challenges. We kicked off the new year with many unexpected snow days, disruptions to schedules, and fighting off various bugs by all in the house! As the year progresses from winter to spring, bringing longer days and warmer temperatures, I too am progressing further with my books.
Illustrations are coming in for Tina and the Mysterious Case of Dance-itis! See above for a sneak peek at the characters which are featured in the story. Stay tuned by following me on social media for additional updates!
I’m honored and excited to announce I’ll be attending the Play, Move, Learn conference hosted by a local non-profit, ChildSavers, as a vendor on April 26, 2025.
ChildSavers is the only nonprofit in Virginia using a coordinated prevention and intervention model to address children’s mental health, preparing them for lifelong learning and helping them recover from trauma. Stay tuned for exciting photos and updates from the event! If you are attending, please stop by my table to chat and connect.
In January this year, while collaborating with a couple of authors in California, Ella’s Way helped coordinate an amazing opportunity to donate picture books which were sent to help rebuild classrooms and libraries (within and outside of schools) amidst the devastation in LA. With great honor, my book, Jude’s Best Worst Day Ever, was included in a donation to the libraries and schools in LA.
