Welcome to the August 2025 newsletter and communication update for Catherine Clark Felts' children's books!

Hello and welcome!

Thank you for reading my monthly newsletter! I greatly appreciate your interest in my children’s picture books, including Jude's Best Worst Day Ever, Tina and the Mysterious Case of Dance-itis, and other upcoming titles!

The line drawings for K.D.’s Journey by Marvin C. Valenzuela are now complete, and we’re excited to move forward with bringing the illustrations to life in full color. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek line drawings! I'm truly honored and grateful to share that my latest children’s book will soon be available to support children and families as they navigate the challenging journey of losing a grandparent.

Exciting progress is underway on my latest children’s book idea, Scentsations, the story of a young girl who can’t smell but releases unique scents tied to her emotions. I’ve also made significant headway on Rocky Knickerbocker: Apprentice Carpenter, and remain on track to bring these stories, and several others, to life over the next six to twelve months.

On a personal note, my family and I are relocating to Yorktown, VA to be closer to extended family. We’re incredibly excited for this new chapter and the adventures that lie ahead. I look forward to becoming part of the Yorktown community and continuing my passion for making a positive impact on children and families.
