With summer winding down, it’s back to school!

Welcome to the September 2025 newsletter and communication update for Catherine Clark Felts' children's books!

Hello and welcome!

Thank you for reading my monthly newsletter! I greatly appreciate your interest in my children’s picture books, including Jude's Best Worst Day Ever, Tina and the Mysterious Case of Dance-itis, and other upcoming titles!

As I mentioned in my last email, my family and I are relocating to Yorktown, VA. We are actively moving, preparing for our two girls to start at a new preschool, and working towards my third book’s publication and release! Throw in a birthday party for my youngest, and it’s officially a whirlwind. 🙂

With kids returning to school, it’s the perfect time to schedule an author visit! I look forward to attending your child’s school either in person or virtually to engage with the students, spark curiosity, and promote courage and positivity!

Last month, I had the joy and privilege to visit Scotland with my mom, Cathy. She fulfilled a lifelong dream to visit Ayr, where her mother (my grandmother, Kay) visited as a child during summers and holidays. We had a wonderful time traveling around the country, connecting with local residents, and sampling delicious cuisine! It was a perfect blend of history, culture, and connection. Amid all the adventures, I was lucky enough to find some quiet moments to read, and I dove into several books by one of my favorite authors, Max Barry.

For those in the Richmond and surrounding areas, I’ll be attending ChesterFest on Saturday September 27 from 10AM to 4PM. Come and get a signed copy of my books Jude’s Best Worst Day Ever, Tina and the Mysterious Case of Dance-itis, and my latest book K.D.’s Journey! I’d love to see you there!
