Dreams Come True! 
I had the honor of reading Tina and the Mysterious Case of Dance-itis to three first-grade classes, and the experience was truly unforgettable. The students were attentive, curious, and full of joy.
Following the reading, we had a thoughtful conversation about fears such as haunted houses, speaking in front of others, or being alone in the dark. We discussed how affirmations can help us feel calm, build courage, and work toward our goals. Each student selected an affirmation card from a box, eagerly sharing and comparing their affirmations with one another. It was a simple activity with a powerful impact.
To make the day even more special, a local school district camera crew and photographer were there to capture the event, which will be featured on the Newport News Public Schools TV show “This Just In.”
